Members come from all over and help to put on a grand New Years Day parade. They can also be found entertaining the sick and elderly in addition to raising money for good causes.

Also located within the area are the famous Geno’s Steaks and Pat’s King of Steaks cheesesteak shops. They were in the Rocky movies and their sequels. The corner market is the heart of street festivals each year, celebrating the food within the neighborhood.
